OUR MISSION:
To build a community of like-minded women that want to grow their network and their business, all while supporting, encouraging and helping other business women in the group.
PURPOSE:
To focus on personal and professional development, networking, building relationships, and providing referrals.
This new idea was born…
In 2018, I formed and led a women’s Book Club in Boerne, TX. We read and discussed many different types of books which always led to amazing discussions among the women. The bond we created was unmatchable and we learned so much about one another! This planted a seed for me. A seed that I wanted to grow and nourish. You see, I desired to have a greater impact on women in the community, but unfortunately, Covid hit. So, while this group dissolved, the seed I had planted was only beginning to take root.
I spent a lot of time researching and visiting MANY networking groups over the years. I became a very active participant in several and I even served on boards and committees. But again, I felt that little seedling of mine needing more. I wanted a group with substance…not only a place to socialize and pass out business cards, but one to give back and deepen relationships.
Then it hit me! I could merge the two. Bringing together the parts of my previous book club I enjoyed so much with what I felt a networking and leadership group should be. So, in late 2020 after lots of discussions with other female entrepreneurs, I founded the group, L.E.A.D. 830 and hand-picked the first few members. Together we crafted our mission statement, vision and expectations.
We are a collective of women business owners. Some have network marketing businesses, like myself, and others own brick-and-mortar or online businesses. It’s an honor to reap the fruits of that little seed that was planted a few years ago and give back to the community that continues to support us, while mentoring and training female business owners.
L.E.A.D. 830 is a paid membership and invite only.
This takes place on Tuesdays in-between our weekly meetings. It’s a time for training, brainstorming, encouragement and just overall support for what members might need. Topics usually revolve around social media, marketing, and other business-related issues.

“Reading is the gateway for children that makes all other learning possible.”
As a former kindergarten teacher specializing in Early Childhood Education, I am fully aware of how important it is that literature becomes a BIG part of children’s lives. We hope to collect at least 500 books by the end of December 2023.
During the fall and spring semesters, our L.E.A.D. 830 group is partnering with our local Boerne Reads organization to sign up for times to visit pre-K classes and read during storytime. Our goal is to leave books and share stories everywhere we go!
We are halfway to our goal! Should you be inclined to help us reach our goal, click the link to our Amazon Wish List below. We are accepting new and gently used books for children in grades Pre-K to 2nd grade.
If you choose to order books from our wish list, they will be shipped directly to Sylvia, one of our members. This will appear in the delivery addresses when you check out.
We are beyond excited to bless these children and teachers with books for their classrooms and by your generous support!
